The food offered at the hotel was fantastic. The dinner was beautifully presented and made from fresh, seasonal ingredients. the breakfast served on the following morning was also good. The hotel was conveniently located near the tourist spots and offered free shuttle bus services for guests. The shuttle bus service was effective and allowed us to have a comprehensive city break experience.
The lack of multilingual staff could be a potential problem for non-Japanese speaking guests as the staff at the hotel seemed inexperienced in handling foreign languages. Nonetheless, the hotel staff were generally helpful and friendly during the stay.

Location was okay for walking around the area and enjoying the beautiful views of the nearby lake. the onsen was a bonus, and the public bath was quite spacious. the meals were okay, not great but they were freshly prepared.
Uncomfortable stay at Christmas during a cold spell. the heater in the room was not very reliable, and it was so cold that we could hardly sleep.
